睽違了數月不見，七月份的聚會總算決定了！這次沒有和Cocoa直接相關的主題演講，取而代之的是由今年 WWDC 的參加者報告這次 WWDC 的所見所聞、Zonble 隨興漫談在 OS X 上設計 icon 的二三事。如果您手上有什麼有趣的專案正在進行，記得帶過來和大家展示分享一番。希望我們會有個新鮮有趣的夜晚。

We don’t have any particular presentation this time, but yllan and lukhnos will talk about what we’ve seen in San Francisco last June (not just tourist stuff, to be sure! :). Zonble said he’d like to talk a bit about icon design on OS X too.

We’d like to have some show-and-tell this time. So please bring your project along and let us know what you’re doing.

This time Cen-Hai Teng from Three-Headed Monkey will talk about their experience on Cocoa developing. If time is allowed, yllan will also shared his discovery on Leopard.

這次的聚會主題預定由 Yllan 及 Lukhnos 分別簡介 Cocoa 的兩大基礎：AppKit 和 Foundation。若有時間，我們還可以聊聊對 Interface Builder 3 的愛與恨以及從 UNIX 或 windows 跳船必備的一些跨平台小祕訣。

Yllan will once again host the meet-up and share his survival tips on Interface Builder 3, and will also give us a talk on AppKit development basics. As a back-up topic, lukhnos will talk about the basics of Foundation (and also CoreFoundation) and some cross-platform tips for people who come from UNIX and Windows platforms.

十月份的聚會時間預定在 10/11 (四) 晚間 19:00~21:00，地點仍然是優仕咖啡（詳細位置參見此頁）。這次的聚會主題預定由 Yllan 現場示範如何為現有的 command-line tools 加上圖形介面，藉此簡單介紹建立 Cocoa Application 的基礎，以及由 Lukhnos 為各位簡報如何應用 ObjectiveFlickr 的 HTTP request 來建立 rich internet application，順便談談 delegate 這個在 Cocoa 中很普遍被用到的 design pattern。

At the CocoaHeads Taipei’s 2nd meeting, yllan and lukhnos will present a tutorial / hands-on talk and a tech talk respectively. Yllan will show us how to create a GUI application for an existing command line utility, explaining the basics of a Cocoa application. Lukhnos will talk about how to integrate ObjectiveFlickr’s HTTP request service to create a simple rich Internet application, also explaining how delegates work in Cocoa.
